The IAS 2026 symposium is an international academic event that aims to bring together current scientific developments, evidence-based practices, and interdisciplinary approaches in the field of autism. The symposium will strengthen interaction between scientific knowledge production and application areas related to autism, and support the sharing of research and application experiences from different countries.
IAS 2026 will feature internationally recognised researchers, clinicians and practitioners in the field of autism as speakers. Sessions at the symposium will address current autism research from early childhood to adulthood, as well as evidence-based intervention approaches, educational practices, parent-mediated interventions, psychosocial support processes, the neurodiversity perspective and technology-based approaches. The aim of these sessions is to share the knowledge and experience of experts from different disciplines and to strengthen scientific interaction among participants.
Taking place online, IAS 2026 will provide a global platform for researchers, clinicians, educators, practitioners, students, families and all other interested individuals to share knowledge and experience. The symposium will facilitate access to current scientific knowledge in the field of autism and support interaction between academic knowledge and practice. It will also contribute to the development of international academic collaborations.
IAS 2026 aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, educators, families and other interested individuals who wish to contribute to a better understanding of autism, support social participation and develop lifelong support approaches for individuals with autism.
